Career challenges can be frustrating, daunting, and downright overwhelming. I would know. I’ve faced several challenges over the course of my career.
Whether it was a career change, multiple relocations, or a career transition due to a company’s restructure, I’ve experienced it.
I’ve also experienced the challenges of job searching in today’s market. I had problems standing out and getting noticed. This was extremely frustrating and confusing to me
because I knew I had valuable experience and a solid skill set.
Then it happened! I had an Oprah “aha” moment. I realized that the issue was not the quality of my experiences or the value of my skills, but that I was not effectively marketing myself to employers.
In today’s job market, companies are hiring specialists to solve specific problems. I had not established my expertise in a subject matter and this realization
motivated me to step back, self-reflect, and gain clarity about my career goals. I needed to define who I was and what I wanted to be known for.
I needed to build a personal brand!
My brand story is the result of a personal journey through adversity and transformation. Through personal branding I learned to leverage my experiences and package my expertise. I am so excited to share with you what I’ve learned and how personal branding can help you grow in your career and business.

It’s the story you share and the perceptions of those who hear or interact with your story. Your story is made up of all the experiences that makes you unique! It is the complete picture of who you are.
I am an accomplished brand strategist with 14 years of experience developing and building brands in highly competitive markets. I specialize in building integrated marketing plans through brand, digital, and experiential marketing. I have worked for several big brand companies (Coca-Cola, Sloan Valve Company, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers) I develop, train, and motivate teams to meet or exceed marketing objectives. I am a learner who enjoys staying on top of industry trends and continuous personal development.

My favorite food is Italian, and I LOVE cake. All types of cake. Especially chocolate cake!
I enjoy watching BBC programs like Downton Abbey and sometimes finds myself speaking in a British accent.
I am the official “unofficial” greatest fan of LeBron James!
I live in Charlotte, NC where I raise my two teenage daughters affectionately known as “Thelma and Louise.”
